This illustrated collection of children's poems is intended for children of all ages.
The poems are both entertaining and some of them funny. But besides their enjoyment value, they each have a message
that introduces children to such concepts as friendship, care, contentment, appreciation, determination and the environment.
With beautiful hand drawn illustrations, the hardback book is destined to become a keepsake
and a memory for the discussion that it can evoke between the children to whom it is given and those nourishing their understanding of life.
The author wrote this collection of poems just before she was diagnosed with FTD, a rare form of dementia that
can affect people from about forty onwards. Being a degenerative illness, FTD leads to mental incapacity,
loss of speech, loss of mobility and, ultimately, complete dependence on palliative care.
Given the advanced stage of Ann's illness, her family have taken on the task of publishing her book
and donating proceeds to charitable institutions working in the area of dementia.
Proceeds arising from the sale of this book will go to Dementia Support (Registered Charity:1158640)
